​Jo Sharp is an established artist with a background in painting & textiles. Her current interest in ceramics has produced an eclectic array of  Japanese inspired ceramic vessels.

Jo’s ceramics are made with both rustic & fine clays featuring richly textured surfaces and evoking a playful recall to objects of antiquity.
Each piece is crafted and glazed to create artworks that are unrepeatable & collectable.

 

Jo Sharp’s creative career spans more than 45 years. During her design career she has won awards for her drawing & painting and has exhibited her work in galleries.

Jo is known internationally in the hand knitting community for her many published books featuring her own yarns and design collections for hand knitting.
